General provisions

This is the personal data processing policy (the “policy”). It explains what data is processed when you use the pimpogames.ru website and play Pimpo Games games: in the browser on our website, on the Yandex Games and VK Games platforms, and in the Android app from RuStore.

This is an English translation of the Russian version of the policy. If the two versions differ, the Russian version applies.

Personal data operator: sole proprietor Timur Alekseevich Kulkaev (Pimpo Games), OGRNIP 326237500484654, INN 231908722600. You can contact the operator at support@pimpogames.ru. The operator handles data processing personally; we have no employees or contractors who would have access to it.

The policy is based on Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data” and is published on this page so that anyone can read it.

This policy is not a consent to data processing. We don’t ask for consent because we don’t collect any data that would require it. If this changes, we will ask for consent separately and in advance.

What data we process and why

We don’t ask you to sign up, and we don’t ask for your name, phone number, address or email. Only the data listed below is processed.

1. Website technical logs.

• What: date and time of the request, the address of the page opened, the server response code, information your browser sends by itself (browser and operating system type and version, language, the page you came from), and your IP address with the last part set to zero (for example, 95.163.244.0; for IPv6 only the beginning of the address is kept). The full IP address is not recorded.
• Why: to keep the website and the web version of the game running, to find errors and to fend off attacks on the server.
• Legal basis: the operator’s legitimate interest in the operation and security of the website (clause 7, part 1, article 6 of Law No. 152-FZ).
• Retention: no longer than 30 days, after which the records are deleted automatically.

We can’t tell who you are from these records. But since the logs contain part of the IP address, we treat them as personal data just in case.

2. Support requests.

• What: whatever you send us yourself: the email address or VK page you write from, your name or nickname, the text of your message, screenshots and other attachments.
• Why: to reply to you and resolve the issue you contacted us about.
• Legal basis: performance of the terms of use to which you are a party (clause 5, part 1, article 6 of Law No. 152-FZ) — helping players is one of our obligations under them.
• Retention: while the issue is being resolved and no longer than one year after the last message — in case you write to us about the same thing again. After that the conversation is deleted.

Please don’t send us anything unnecessary: we don’t need passport details, phone numbers or bank card details.

What we don’t do: we don’t collect data for advertising ourselves, don’t build player profiles, don’t sell or share data for marketing, and don’t make automated decisions about you.

How we process data: using a computer (automated processing). Actions performed on the data: collection, recording, storage, use for the stated purposes, deletion.

Game progress and platform accounts

Game progress — completed levels, stars, coins, settings. On its own it doesn’t say who you are and is not personal data. Where it is stored:

• On Yandex Games and VK Games — in the platform’s cloud storage linked to your account there. Saving is done and stored by the platform itself under its own rules.
• On pimpogames.ru and in the Android app — only on your device: in the browser or app storage. Progress is not sent to our server. If you clear the site data in your browser or uninstall the app, the progress will be lost.

Platform account. If you play on Yandex Games or VK Games, you sign in to the platform’s account, and the platform processes your data as an independent operator under its own rules. The game does not send us your account ID, name, photo, friends list or other profile data, and we don’t store them.

Advertising

The games are free and supported by ads. There are two kinds of ads:

• Rewarded video — shown only when you press the reward button yourself. What you will get is written on the button.
• Ads between levels — sometimes shown after a completed level: not on the first levels and not after every win.

On Yandex Games and in the Android app ads are shown by Yandex (Yandex LLC); on VK Games — by VK (VK Advertising Network, VK LLC). They select ads and process the data needed for this (for example, cookies and the device advertising ID) as independent operators under their own rules, linked above. We don’t pass your data to these ad networks and have no access to their data; the platforms only show us total impressions and revenue.

No ads are currently shown on pimpogames.ru, including the web version of the game.

Android app

The Kolechki app from RuStore:

• doesn’t require signing up or signing in;
• stores progress and settings only on your phone and doesn’t send them to us;
• doesn’t request access to contacts, files, camera, microphone or precise location.

Ads in the app. Ads are shown by the built-in Yandex ad network module — Yandex Mobile Ads SDK (Yandex LLC). AppMetrica, a Yandex service the module uses to count impressions and collect diagnostics, runs inside it. To show an ad and count the impression, the module itself, without the operator’s involvement, sends Yandex technical data: IP address (used to determine approximate location), device model and OS version, technical identifiers for showing and counting ads, ad impression and click events, information about the app’s install source (Install Referrer), and diagnostic data about the module. Yandex processes this data as an independent operator under its privacy policy and the Yandex Mobile Ads SDK terms of use. We don’t receive this data; Yandex only shows us the total number of impressions and revenue.

The game is suitable for all ages, so the module runs in child-directed, non-personalised mode: the app tells the module that ads are shown to a child, and ads are not selected based on interests and history.

Permissions. The app uses the internet (to load ads), network state information, vibration and install source information (Install Referrer — requested by AppMetrica). The app has no access to location; Yandex determines approximate location only from the IP address. The app doesn’t request access to the device advertising ID (the AD_ID permission) and has no in-app purchases.

RuStore, as an app store, processes download and install data under its own rules and only shows us overall statistics.

Cookies, analytics and third-party services

• Cookies. The pimpogames.ru website doesn’t use cookies.
• Analytics. We don’t use visit counters or analytics systems — neither on the website nor in the games. AppMetrica runs only inside the Yandex ad module in the Android app (described above); its data is not passed to us. The platforms (Yandex Games, VK Games, RuStore) collect statistics themselves under their own rules and only show us anonymised aggregate figures: how many people played, average play time, how many ad impressions there were.
• Third-party resources. The website doesn’t load fonts, scripts or images from other servers — everything the pages need is served by our server.
• Browser storage. The web version of the game saves progress in browser storage on your device and may cache the game files so that it starts faster. This data stays with you and is not sent to us.

If we decide to add analytics or ads to the website, we will update this policy first, and if your consent is needed for this, we will ask for it separately.

Data transfer and where data is stored

We don’t sell or transfer your personal data to anyone else, except where required by law (for example, at the lawful request of a court or government authority).

The website and its logs are hosted on a rented server in Russia.

If you write to us on VK, the conversation is stored by VK under its own rules.

How we protect data

• we collect as little data as possible: the full IP address is not recorded, there is no sign-up;
• the connection to the website is encrypted (HTTPS);
• only the operator has access to the server, sign-in is by key, without a password;
• logs are deleted automatically when the retention period expires;
• if data is no longer needed for the purpose it was obtained for, we delete it.

If a personal data breach does occur, we will notify Roskomnadzor within the time limits set by law.

Children

The games are suitable for all ages (0+). We don’t collect children’s personal data and don’t ask them for their age or contact details. If a child wants to write to support, it’s better for a parent to do it. If you are a parent and believe your child has sent us their data, write to us and we will delete it.

Ads on the platforms are selected by the platforms’ ad networks under their own rules. In the Android app ads are shown without personalisation.

Your rights

Under Law No. 152-FZ you can:

• find out whether we process your data, which data exactly, why, on what basis and for how long;
• demand that the data be corrected, blocked or deleted if it is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, unlawfully obtained or not needed for the stated purpose;
• object to processing or withdraw consent if processing was based on consent;
• appeal our actions to Roskomnadzor (rkn.gov.ru) or in court.

How to contact us. Write to support@pimpogames.ru or to the Pimpo Games community on VK. So that we can find your data, tell us where and when you contacted us (for example, which email you used to write to support). If we can’t tell from the information you sent which data you mean, we will ask you to clarify.

We will reply within 10 business days of receiving the request. If more time is needed, the period may be extended by another 5 business days — we will let you know in advance and explain why. Unlawfully processed data will be deleted, or its processing stopped, within the time limits set by law.

You can delete progress on your device yourself: clear the site data in your browser or uninstall the app. Progress in the platform’s cloud is deleted using the platform’s own tools. See also Data deletion.

Changes to the policy

We may update the policy — for example, when the games appear on a new platform or get a new feature. The new version is published on this page, and the version date is shown at the top. If the changes concern what data is collected, we will publish them before we start collecting the new data.
